Yes, really – “Spaghetti Tacos.” Thinking like a seven-year-old can be quite liberating as an adult, especially when it comes to dinner choices. If a seven-year-old got to choose your dinner, they may go with Captain Crunch pizzas, or chocolate chicken fingers, or perhaps grilled macaroni and cheese sandwiches. For tonight – our neighborhood’s designated trick-or-treat Halloween night – we were inspired to have dinner that can only be described as “kid food.” Unusual combos of comfort food are not anything new, including spaghetti tacos evidently, but they were certainly new for us. If you haven’t ever tried tacos Italian style, you absolutely must.

SECRET INGREDIENT: Make them spicy with red pepper flakes
